Which sexual behaviors did you engage in? (Check all that apply.). -- These are asked with respect to the partner in dating, hookups, and relationships, but by partner's gender, if one *ever* engaged in these behaviors, in sexual history. As such, this gender-nonspecific series is constructed for sexual histories, whereas for the occurrences, these reflect the questionnaire. Note also that for occurrences, respondents were asked whether they kissed or made out, wherein sexual histories this was split into two questions, about public/private kissing, and as such, these two variables are only available in sexual histories (which a correspond privacy-nonspecific version constructed to match those in the per-occurrence data). In the student-level file, the gendered sexual behavior indicators are constructed from the prompts about behaviors the respondent *ever* did with a male/female partner, whereas in the event-level file, these are constructed from the respondent gender, partner gender, and gender-neutral sexual behavior prompts.
condom Did you use a condom?
condom.r This indicates whether, in a heteronormative event, the respondent had intercourse but did not use a condom, had intercourse and used a condom, or did not have intercourse.
condom.s This indicates condom use, conditional on reporting vaginal intercourse. It it like condom, except that it is set to missing if vaginal intercourse was not reported.
condom_r This is the same as condom.r, but it is stored as a numeric variable, where -1 indicates that the respondent did not have sex. In selection equations on sex, the first stage should drop all the -1's, converting this into a dichotomous variable, where 1 indicates condom use.
enjoyed.sexual.activity How much did you enjoy whatever happened physically (most recent event)?
enjoyed.sexual.activity.very.much This dichotomizes 'How much did you enjoy whatever happened physically?'. It's true only if the respondent chooses 'I enjoyed the sexual activity very much'.
enjoyed.overall How much did you enjoy {your date/the hookup/the most recent sexual event within your relationship} overall?
