As such, this gender-nonspecific series is constructed for sexual histories, whereas for the occurrences, these reflect the questionnaire. Note also that for occurrences, respondents were asked whether they kissed or made out, wherein sexual histories this was split into two questions, about public/private kissing, and as such, these two variables are only available in sexual histories (which a correspond privacy-nonspecific version constructed to match those in the per-occurrence data).
