FASL 24: Special Workshop on Approaches to Slavic Morphology

The Department of Linguistics at New York University is pleased to announce that the 24th annual conference on Formal Approaches to Slavic Linguistics (May 8-10) will be accompanied by a Special Workshop on Slavic Morphology (May 7). The goal of the workshop is to showcase the most recent advances in morphological theory, experimental and corpus research, and computational modeling of morphological learning--with a focus on the Slavic language family. We are inviting talks on a variety of topics.


Proceedings

Invited speakers:

The workshop will feature three invited speakers:

  • Vera Gribanova (Stanford University)
  • Ora Matushansky (CNRS Paris)
  • Katya Pertsova (University of North Carolina Chapel Hill)

  • There will also be up to eight talks accepted based on peer-reviewed abstracts, submitted via EasyAbs.

    Formatting guidelines for abstract submission

    Abstracts should be in PDF format, with all non-standard fonts embedded. Abstracts should not exceed 2 pages, including data and references (11 pt font minimum, single spacing, 1 inch/2.5 cm margins on all sides). Abstracts should be anonymous.

    The deadline for submissions is February 1.
