This mystical beast was hatched out of a longing in our society for, weird Japanese stuff, - Only kidding - Godzilla was spawned from a deeply human science-fiction craving and our pliable imaginations.   

Certainly his re-birth was affected by the desire to fill a giant demand in the US for such natural mysteries.

Godzilla is a man-made fossil of our earlest, primeval desires  to fascinate the viewer. 

To take current tecnologies to their outer-limits. 

To turn man's version of science against himself. 

To invoke chaos.
