Research Question (Clear, unambiguous)	"I want to explore the relationship between household income difference between husband and wife and men’s propensities for domestic violence." This is a reasonable research question.
Relevant Literature	The three studies mentioned are an odd selection from a very large literature on the topic of domestic violence.  You need to have a better sense of this literature to move forward.
Causal Interpretations (clear, all parts defined, mechanisms, controls, plausible)
Data (variables, sample, comparison)	The IPUMS-DHS seems a reasonable data source for studying this issue comparatively across less developed nations; it does not cover economically advanced nations.  Your presentation ignores this.  Because of the target populations, the income data is limited; although some of the samples do have a variable for which spouse earns more, this won't work for relative income.  Also, the information on wife's possible aggression toward husband is much less than about her being a victim.  If you want to look at domestic violence in advanced nations, you obviously need different data.  Also, you need to consider the conditions that lead to variations in income differences to include as controls.
Research Value	There actually has been research on this issue, so you need to review it and figure out if there is room for you to add something new.
Overall	Generally a plausible project, but the background and design here are not well developed.
