Research Question	The general intent of the research question is clear and sensible.
Relevant Literature	The start on a literature review seems okay.  However, it seems to neglect existing research on differences across nations, such as Protestant versus Catholic countries.  Looking at this work should help both conceptually and methodologically.
Causal Interpretations	Well, simply listing conditions that could influence people's abortion attitudes is not really pursuing causal interpretations.  You want to look at the literature for ideas about why these characteristics might influence abortion attitudes. Also, you might want to think about the ways that abortion attitudes are facets of culture rather than simple personal preferences.  People's attitudes about abortion often reflect the dominant beliefs in the subcultures with whom they identify.  To the degree this is true, the critical causal questions might concern what determines those cultural ideas and people's associations with those cultures, rather than individual belief patterns.
Data	The World Values Survey seems okay, although you should be clear about its limitations.
Research Value	Okay
Timetable	The schedule seems okay for an early plan, although don't be surprised if the data analysis takes longer.
Priorities for Developing a Full Draft	Perhaps the top priority should be looking at existing research doing cross cultural comparisons to bolster both the analytical prospects and the research design.
