Research Question	The research questions concerning the differential experience of minority women in law seems fine.
Relevant Literature	The approach to the literature review seems well developed.  It does seem to neglect the relevant studies of women in law by sociologists.
Causal Interpretations	The discussion of causal possibilities seems fine, except that it neglects one potentially important facet, differences in choice patterns.  Differences in socialization, family circumstances, and career expectations may cause women and men to make different choices about their employment.  This is always a concern in studies of differential career outcomes, both because it may contribute to the differences and because it is difficult to measure.
Data	The data seem fine, but you want to think through the ways that the data limit your study as well as the ways they support it.
Research Value	Okay.
Timetable	This seems as good as you can hope at this point.
Priorities for Developing a Full Draft	Figure out how to incorporate the issue of differential choices into the project, get some sense of the relevant sociological studies.
