Research Question	Every part of this thesis topic proposal is in good shape!  The research question is clear.
Relevant Literature	The grasp of the relevant literature is very good for this stage.
Causal Interpretations	The basic causal ideas seem good.  However, the discussion so far seems to neglect one potential issue, self selection.  We must anticipate that those families who live in concentrated immigrant communities differ from those who do not.  So, any causal assessment must concern itself with means to take this into account.  If the expected difference in IPV appears in the data, is it the result of neighborhood context, or is that context a choice resulting from other circumstances that also influence the IPV differences?
Data	The data seem okay.  Are you contemplating comparisons within ethnic groups or what?  You also probably should be asking about potential reporting variations in the data that could affect results (i.e., might the conditions that potentially affect IPV also affect people's willingness to report IPV?).    How many immigrants are in the dataset?  Are they sufficient in number to support the kinds of comparisons you will want to make?  How many distinct ethnic groups have large enough numbers?  Remember, you need enough people in each ethnic group that you have sufficient variation in IPV to support the research agenda.
Research Value	Fine.
Timetable	This seems okay, although either the data preparation or data analysis periods could take longer than anticipated.
Priorities for Developing a Full Draft	Nothing stands out as needing special effort, so simply continue to develop.  You might pay special attention in the literature to research on immigrant communities that has tried to cope with self-selection to see if it helps you in this regard.
