General Chemistry II & Laboratory
CHEM-UA 126
Spring 2019

The problems listed below must be completed on paper, by hand, on STAPLED PAGES, showing your name, the problem numbers, and all necessary "work", and submitted in recitation on the due dates listed below. All homework problems listed below are from Chemistry: The Molecular Nature of Matter and Change, 8th Ed., by Martin S. Silberberg. The due dates are selected to ensure that you have more than 24 hours between the end of the lecture(s) on a given chapter and the recitation at which the corresponding assignment is due. Be aware, however, that a quiz on the early part of a chapter may take place before the homework due date! Quiz topics may include material from any lecture up to, and including, the Wednesday lecture preceding your recitation.

Late homeworks will not be accepted.
Medical/religious excuses do NOT apply to homework.
Numerical answers to most problems will be available on the course web page shortly before each due date. If we fall behind schedule in the lectures, homework due dates will be extended. Consult THIS assignment page for the latest homework due dates.
