PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE
Ms. Charlier has performed professionally since 1989, as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician: symphonic concerts & chamber music recitals, solos with orchestra, solo flute recitals, opera, musical theatre, ballet, pops concerts, didactic recitals for children, incidental music for theatre, live music for silent movies, recordings of sound tracks for short movies, animation, commercial jingles, role playing game, collaborative multimedia productions, performances through the internet II. Repertoire: Early music to contemporary avant-garde, including Brazilian genres and fluency in improvisation in various styles. Ms. Charlier has performed in Brazil (in all the major concert halls from the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Goiás), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Italy (several cities from the state of Toscana) and United States (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Mexico, and California).

5-Solos with orchestras and symphonic band
-Concerto for flute, by E. Villani-Côrtes; performed in Brazil in 2007, with the Banda Sinfônica Jovem do Estado de São Paulo, conducted by Maestrina Mônica Giardini. (Born in 1930,Villani is one of the most prominent Brazilian classical music composers alive. His concerto was composed in 2000, originally for flute and orchestra. In 2007, he wrote a special version for flute and symphonic band to be performed by Celina Charlier at 2 venues in Brazil- Memorial da América Latina auditorium in São Paulo, and the most prestigious Brazilian winter music festival, in Campos de Jordão.)

-2003-2006: Founding Conductor/ Music Director of the NYU Wednesday Orchestra (a mostly non-music majors orchestra serving the entire NYU student community), by invitation from the Director of the NYU Center for Music Performance at the time, Maestro Barry Spanier. Repertoire: Western classical (extensive repertoire), bossa nova and other Brazilian genres, tango, blues, jazz, musical theatre. All the repertoire was especially arranged for the group by Ms. Charlier.
-2005: NYU Community Orchestra’s Young People’s Concert. (Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf)

She has performed numerous solo flute and solo recorder recitals, since age 17, with eclectic repertoire (predominantly Baroque and 20th century), giving a panorama of flute sonorities through different styles that were prolific in flute repertoire. She has performed such solo recitals for audiences of musicians, music students, children and lay audience, as well as in major venues in Brazil, always with a didactic character of showing the soundscope of the instruments performed.
