Cro Top Music was started in May of 1999 in an attempt to organize sources of Croatian music on the internet. There is a severe lack of information on current Croatian music, meaning what exactly is going on in Croatia right now. As a Croatian American I have found it incredibly hard to keep in touch with my roots. Music has been one of the few ways I have been able to connect. Through it, I have learned much of the language and culture. I hope that through this page, you all will experience the joy I have felt in discovering the richness of Croatian music both modern and folk. I've always been pissed off that I can't keep up with all the good new music coming out of Croatia. The Internet changed things a bit but radio feeds are few and hard to find. MP3's have filled that gap somewhat but what we really need is realtime audio and video streams of various outlets as well as various outlets to purchase Croatian music. Until that beautiful day comes, I will try my best to keep this page updated with all the latest Croatian hits through the top 10, archive and links pages.
