Education is a wonderful thing, provided you always remember that nothing worth knowing can ever be taught --oscar wilde

Professional ::
Four year curriculum at SUNY State College of Optometry-- located in the heart of manhattan [on 42nd street between 5th and 6th Avenue] -- right across from Bryant Park.  Insha'Allah the objective is to become an optometrist.
[ optometry: the art or profession of examining the eye for defects and faults of refraction and prescribing correctional lenses or exercises; dealing with diseases of the eye ]

Undergraduate::
B.A. in biology from the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University (NYU) alhamdulillah.  [Biology major with Pre-Med requirements and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies] NYU is located in Greenwich Village-- an eccentric place where people of all tastes and appearances come together.   We don't really have a campus-- which is both advantageous and disadvantageous.  I really (x 3) enjoyed my time here-- especially my senior year, due largely because of my involvement with the Islamic Center on campus.

High School ::  Four years at Midwood High School (at Brooklyn College, of course).  All in all, I had great experiences at this school.  Midwood has a renowned medical science and research program that attracts many eager science students every year.  Being in the rigorous Westinghouse program was a highlight of my high school career and definitely a rewarding experience.

Junior High School:: Three years at Mark Twain for the Gifted and Talented -- I.S. 239.  It attracted students with different talents, i.e. Science, Math, Creative Writing, Art, Drama, Athletics.  I was in the Math Talent.. basically learning programs and software (on Macs, so,  umm, well.....i'm kinda against the whole concept of macs... but i wont go there. :)

Elementary School :: 5 good old years at P.S. 253.
